Yahoo ate all my emails!!!!!
Everything in my inbox, sent, trash, and drafts folders are gone!!!!
I've got about 10 posts to post on the list and about 15 replies! Plus ongoing plot discussions, links to message boards I can't remember, addresses to friends houses, Not to mention photos and a music video file I desperately want back!!!
I'm *this* close to panic mode, but I"m holding it together for now. On the yahoo answers somebody said that sometimes the yahoo servers lock up or something and things will disappear for a few hours. So I'm waiting... and the panic is rising....
0_o Oh dear Lord. That's an inspiration to save all my emails elsewhere. I've got emails dating back to 2002, stories written on dead lists, and stories written with dead friends saved in my inbox. Yikes.

And it seems to still be eating my emails. Two showed up in my inbox and when I clicked on one they both disappeared. :( I guess if you need to contact me send me a pm and I'll check here often until this sorts out.

I hope everything magically appears. I had enough of Yahoo over a year ago and got a gmail account. I love my gmail.
I just tried to go to del.icio.us (which is owned by yahoo) and it's not working. Methinks they are having major problems.
Outch, that's horrible. I hope the get it sorted out and they re-appear.
Well late last night everything in my inbox was there (I hope), and I moved alot of stuff over into a folder as for some reason my folders all seem to be there. Right after I did that, the rest of the stuff in my inbox disappeared again. :(
So I think I saved all the coposts I'm currently working on, plus those 10 or so completed coposts that I need to send out. Unfortunately, I'm nervous about sending out with the weird way my account is acting.
So I'm going to hold off on posting/coposting again today and see if things settle down. If they don't, I'll take you up on the temp email Amanda and I'll look into alt email options.

This whole business is awful. I would be using some very bad language about the company. Are you? :geek:
Their help section is all screwed up too. I can't send a help reqest through email (the link keeps giving me an error when I try to go to the page) and the live chat doesn't appear to be working either. I've looked on the main page but they haven't made an announcement or anything about a problem.
I think I'll try sending out those completed posts I salvaged today. I've been testing my send capabilites though my home email too and it appears I can send reliably... I just can't do coposts because I can't recieve :(
When I start sending to the list I'll check with Emma or Amanda on chat and see if they are coming through.
That's really weird. i have Yahoo and am not have any problems today. That is just crazy. I'm sorry to hear you are having problems. Yahoo can be a pain at times though. I got locked out of my previous account and never did get back in. I had posts saved from years ago on that account. I had to start all over again. It can really suck.

Sorry, I meant to send stuff, then I got locking into troubleshooting hell for both yahoo and skype. Then I got working on the School Carnival that I'm coordinating for Saturday and I just ran out of time. That and I've been cleaning for our Superbowl party Sun.... This was a really bad week for all this to go down :(

I've got all my sent, draft, and inbox messages back. It looks like I'm recieving emails and everything. *crosses fingers* Hope this lasts! :D

Okay, so I finally got through all the coposts that got stacked up during that darn apocalype last week. So, if you haven't recieved a reply from me today or yesterday then it got sucked into the yahoo abyss. So please resend to me :)
