Title: Digital woes
Post by: Paula on December 11, 2008, 10:41:47 PM
My daughter's kindergarden had a christmas party yesterday evening. I took the digicamera with me so I could take photos. And guess what? The batteries were dead! Arrrgg.
 :kopfwand:

It happens almost everytime when I try to take photos! Once the da** thing broke down when I was taking photos of my son's performance in school play.

Man, that's annoying.

Get new batteries, though.  (I assume you're using rechargeable ones?)  Must husband upgraded his camera after a while because he got sick of the batteries always going flat but I reckon the rechargeables just run out of recharge-ability after a while and don't work as well.

Kurt tells me NiMH batteries have fewer 'losing charge' issues than Ni-Cad.

yeah even rechargeables just tend to bleh after a long time. Also Paula-as I learned-batteries go dead much faster in the cold. So in your kind of weather its important to keep your camera warm. I also tended to take extra batteries with me whenever I could.

Hope that helps.
