Yes, I'm having a 'day off' from the messageboards on our New Zealand auction site, TradeMe.
This is a serious, life-sapping, time-stealing addiction and I'm trying to break it so that I have more time for coposting.

So, help me out here people. Report bugs, post pictures, talk, ask questions, tell jokes, nominate in the Crayon awards, do something or anything on this forum so I can manage going cold turkey on the other one.

And here I am getting ready to go ebay bonkers! I've got about two weeks to unload everything in my house I can live without onto the site in order to get christmas money so I can spoil the kids rotten! I plan on spending pretty much every evening putting up auction after auction and I'm hoping to hit near $700 like I did last year. Wish me luck!

Speaking of my selling... I was about to post up my extra Atlas of Pern. I was going to do a min bid of $10, but if anyone at Triad wants it I'll just sell it right off. I use mine all the time and it gives a great idea of the layout of holds, crafts, etc. I don't want to be peddling my wares here or anything, but I know alot of people don't do the ebay thing. :)

Oh what am I saying, of course I'll sell it to you! If you're not in a rush give me a couple days to get to the post office and see if I can fit it in one of their global flat rate mailers. I think it'd be cheaper than sending it regular mail, but maybe not, I'll have to ask about both ways.
BTW, I feel like I'm selling a bit of my soul over on ebay. I'm listing most of my AM collection now, all the hardbacks, sets, collector pieces, sheet music, art, etc. I'm keeping all my reading copies and whatnot, all that other stuff is just taking up space, and I really need the money (we might be getting a dog for the kids), but still... it feels dirty! This songbook is much better: http://www.opland-freeman.com/dots.htm (http://www.opland-freeman.com/dots.htm) and alot cheaper! The one I have is sort of an oddity, valuable for it's uniqueness not because it's any good.
To anyone who doesn't have the Masterharper of Pern CD or songbook I HIGHLY recommend it. It's fantastically amazing and just completely draws you in to the world of Pern.
Ohhh, People of Pern. It's very, very uncommon in New Zealand.
I have one but, you know, I also have that hoarding gene.
Song books and CDs **shakes head** you can't draw me into Pern via music. Words, maps and plans. They're my things.

I have both the Atlas and People of Pern. Got those when I was single and working and didn't have children so could spend more on books! :)

Yeah, but if getting it ASAP isn't a big concern then I'd rather save you some bucks on shipping and send it as cheap as possible. It's not a problem of stopping in, I'm going to be there off and on for the next month as I do the ebay stuff.
