I just got an advance payment of 100 dollars for a quilt that this lady has commissioned me to do for her daughter.

MY FIRST PAID COMMISSION!!!!!

What's really ironic is that the conversation that led to Amanda getting the commission was in a comment thread on a livejournal post of mine...in which I was kvetching about all the time she was spending doing quilt-related stuff that weekend.

It hurts and stings. :)
