While some of the member rewards involving rank do say posting requirements must be met, others don't.
These do (with the wording "Must meet posting requirements."):
225 - One Level 4 Ranker free of Rank Limits.
275 - One Level 3 Ranker free of Rank Limits.
375 - One Level 2 Ranker free of Rank Limits.
These don't:
350 - Gold flit egg to keep or give away.
425 - Guaranteed Impression of a bronze.
1000 - New Hears All Dragons Persona.
2000 - Create a New PC Craft Hall & Hallmaster at an existing Hold.
3000 - Retired Goldrider Exempt from the 1 Goldrider Rule.
4000 - Create a New PC Hold & Lord Holder.
5000 - Jr. Goldrider Exempt from the 1 Goldrider Rule.
Does this mean that bronzerider's created by purchasing guaranteed Impression are effectively requirements-free? Gold firelizard egg owners where the egg is purchased? New PC Lord Holders?
No, they are still rankers and their ranks can be found here (http://www.triadweyrs.org/faq.php?q=allrank).
All that means is that rather than applying to the Council for those things, you must use your member rewards to buy them.

I didn't want a ranker free of the "rank limits" to be accidentally considered reqs free. There are rules about how many L4s, L3s, L2s and L1s one member can have, to make things fair on everyone. If someone wants an extra L4, they can use marks to buy it, but it isn't a "free" L4. If you want an extra L4 who is reqs free, you'll have to pay for the extra part AND pay for the reqs free part.
It was added because some people had confusion. No one had confusion about a bronzerider or gold egg coming with rank, so I figured it could be implicit. :)
