Yep. I have before. I haven't recently since getting back into Pern (not yet anyway), but back when I was active before, Kurt caught me on more than one occasion.
Has anyone else used any 'Pernese' terms, perhaps signed their name with the sig they use in Triad, or use their character's name or do something else related to Pern where it wouldn't normally be used?
A few years back when I was really into Pern fandom I remember on more than one occasion reading a story and then talking to my husband about it.
"Oh man, how could he do that!? He's such an ass!" Like it happened in RL. Lol. Sometimes it's hard to tell the difference. Haha.
