If you could choose a song that you think reminds you of Pern, what would it be?
For me, it's Edo Lullabye by Ensemble Nipponia. I think it's because when I first read the books, I was listening to that.
Eyes of the Truth by Enigma. Especially the second half of the song. It's exotic-sounding, and every time I hear it, I can see dragons swooping and diving, fighting thread in the sky, and at one point, a queen rising in exultation to mate. If Dragonflight is ever made into a movie, they should use some of this song for the trailer :)
For me it's a tie between Afrocelt's "Release" and Tannas's "Mairead Nan Cuiread"
I almost did an RPG game for Pern (when I mean RPG I mean dice and paper), but I'm too lazy. Anyway, for the RPG I was going to use a ton of Afrocelt for the background and fighting aspects of the game that never was.
