Mine was in radio: they told that some gas station was selling beer 10 cent/piece. They even fake-interview customer (who was actually an actor). It was hilarious, especially since some believed it. The Gas station keeper later complaned that his phone was blocked up by so many calls and people actually came in to buy that cheap beer. :lol:
That "Butterfinger" was changing it's official name to "The Finger"

'Flying Penguins' on the BBC, I don't know if you can view the video outside the UK/Europe. But none of these (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/magazine/7324127.stm) were April Fool's!
The only one I ran into was that Dark Fort Weyr was going to have Zombies added to the world of Pern. Emma forwarded that one. ;-)
Oh no! I missed April Fools this year! What day was that? It wasn't on my Japanese calandar :P Some of the western holidays are missing unfortunately.

I read an article saying that North and South Carolina were going to become one state in 2018. The article said there was a vote to decide the new name of the state and the name South Virginia beat out North Georgia and North North Florida.
I read in disbelief for a bit, before realizing it was a joke.

Gmail also did a cool joke called Gmail Custom Time, a new gmail program through which you can change the time it says your e-mail was sent. So, you can send in an essay late, but when the professor checks his/her e-mail, it will look like you sent it early.
