Is Amanda starting so many new threads simply to up her store of marks?

It seems that every day Amanda starts one or two or five new threads. Could there be an ulterior motive?

I'm going to agree with the hoarding of marks here. Eimi you have enough marks there to create a queenrider, who hears all dragons, and is from a new hold! :D

When you say 'and now additional 2' you are, of course, showing your ignorance of the finer points of marks hoarding.
When posting in your own thread you earn 2 for the post

It could be, but does it really matter? As has been said by Jane before, it fosters community. Plus, we get to talk about aspects of Pern or our characters or Triad that can't really be expressed only in posts, which I think is nice, so I forgive it even if that's what it is.
