Post by: Amanda N on March 22, 2008, 06:48:00 PM
There are a lot of interesting and beautiful names that characters have.  So...how do you pronounce them?

I like to create names that are easy to spell, so they're all pretty easy to pronounce as well.

Though Causton was originally Cawston - but I changed the spelling cause too many of the letters were on my left hand side. LOL

M'delon: M-del-on

Ch'lis: Ch-lis

Alasha: a-la-sha (not a-LA-sha, all the a's are soft and her nick name Ash is pronounced with a soft ah a)

If you mispronounced Alasha's name she would roll her eyes, but if you mispronounced M'delon or Ch'lis's names, they would just think your an idiot because their names are spelled phonetically ;)
