It's been going since 2000, in one form or another. But I'm not the member of longest standing. That would likely be Paula or Roxanne
Congratulations.
The longest continuous member would be Roxanne. She was a member of the original Dragonsfall Weyr, as well as Pern Shadows and Star Lake Weyr -- the original triad (though they were played as separate clubs). Then Pern Shadows and Dragonsfall were merged to form the actual role-playing Triad Weyrs.
Roxanne was also at the 'parent' club - Pern Ridges - and at least one of her current characters here at Triad was there with her.
(I just retired my longest running character after 8 years continuously in play - in three different clubs. It was a pretty sad day, I must say.)

An original of Triad -- yep, but haven't been here as long as the others. I left in Sep/Oct of 2001, but came back last year.
I remember the girls who were here when I left and can't believe they're still going strong after all these years, hence saying they deserve medals! LOL

WOW - Emma, that's AGES! :) Congrats for sticking it out! And congrats to Triad for lasting this long. I know regular pbems tend to have a shelf-life of 3-5 years before going kaput, but Triad's not doing well for its geriatric self.

Demalia was one of my first creations, a candidate for Dragonsfall Weyr. She Impressed and I played her for a while, but when Pern Shadows and Dragonsfall merged into Triad, I found that I had far too many characters and gave some up for adoption -- including Demalia.
