Have you ever played the "I have never" game?  Sometimes its a drinking game, or sometimes its a "get to know you" game...  Well, I don't think we can really PLAY per say (though feel free to drink if you want ;)), but we might be able to get to know a little something...


I have never had my nails done.


So the next person tell me if you have or if you haven't, and then tell me what you've never done!

Do you mean by professional or self? I do my own nails, thank you.

I have never made my own pizza dough.

I made pizza dough the other night, but I kind of cheated and used the breadmaker ;)

I have never been to Canada

I've been to Canada a couple of times.

I've never been to Lord Howe Island, though.

I've never been out of the US.

Well, I suppose its pretty obvious I have ;)

I have never been to Disneyland.

I've been to disney land!

I have never... owned a car that was brand new.

I haven't been to Disneyland either --
but I've been to DisneyWorld several time.



Ok, here's one that probably everyone else has done:

I have never gone a week without eating chocolate of some kind

I've done that.  Though I've never really had big chocolate cravings.

I have never taken even one puff of a cigarette.

:cheers:  I've never taken a puff of a cigarette either! (For which I am very proud by the way, because I have worked in restaurants where almost everyone smokes and have friends who will drukenly insist "just try it!")

Um... I think the over 30 bottles of alcohol in my room (seriously!) would attest to the fact that I have tried alcohol before.  No, I'm not a lush... People just keep giving it to me and it collects since I don't drink it that often...

I have never been to Europe.

I have been to Disney (can never keep them straight....the one in Florida.)
and I'm taking my daughter in January.

I've never been to London or Europe, but I have been to Canada and Mexico...and I was born in Japan.

I drive every day.

I just recently started getting my nails done after years of not doing them (I had a baby and was in remodeling mode...kept breaking them so I stopped spending the money.)

I've never made pizza dough.

I've never taken a political science class in college.

I did the Bloomsday fun run in Spokane when I was in 6th grade.  Way back in the day...  Now I'd be lucky if I could walk the 7 miles XD  THough if I was in Spokane I'd do it again.  It was a lot of fun.

I took a political science class once to satisfy a requirement.  I loved it just because it was only Monday-Thursday so it gave me a chance to sleep in on Fridays ;)

I've never made out with someone I've known less than a day, but I wound up rolling around on the floor with and kissing intensely a guy I had only known _in person_ less than a day. We knew each other online for half a year before that, though. Does that count or not? o.o

I have been to Disney World because I live less than 2 hours from it, and I have seen a snake. They like to come onto my patio in Florida, it's annoying.

Are you asking if making out with someone you've known online counts as making out with someone you've known less than a day?  Or if rolling around on the floor and kissing intensly counts as making out?  I'd say no to the former and yes to the later ;)

I used to catch snakes all the time when I was a kid (like 3 or 4).  They lived in the back yard.  In fact, I have a memory of catching one and letting it go in the bathroom.  My brother found it while he was in there and wasn't happy... XD

I've never tried any recreational drugs other than caffine and alcohol which were not perscribed to me.  Except codeine.  I've had codeine when it wasn't prescribed to me.  Canada sells some excellent Tylonal with codeine that often gets smuggled across the border into Washington XD  I have no idea why its not sold in America!  The stuff works great!

Ok... I have never...  tried skiing.

I ski and love it so much!  :D  I've never done drugs either.....

I have never gone a month without drawing something.

I don't draw much, so I have definately gone a month or more without doing so.

I have never cooked a steak. (I've been a vegetarian for 2 years, but haven't eaten red meat since I was 12)

And apparently I'm Triad's bad girl, since I have both gotten high and made out with a strange man at the bar (not at the same time). In my defense, he had a very sexy accent.

I have never had any kind of surgery.

I have waxed legs...I've got surgery (eyes), I've even taken a puff of smoke (just once, it tasted terrible and saw no reason to continue, I was young (and drunk)) . No drugs, never.

I've never stolen anything.

Well, technically I stole my computer chair from work.  When our air force base in the South Island closed down in 1993 and my unit was moved to a base in the North Island I arrived with nothing from the old base other than my favourite chair and a box full of files.  By the time I left the air force at the end of 2001 they had redecorated the office twice and my scruffy chair was still around, so when I went to the local pub for my farewell 'shout' there was my chair all wrapped up in brown paper with a lime green bow on it. (I hate lime green; the colour choice was no accident!)

All in all, I guess it was 'stolen' - and I'm grateful every day that it was.

I've never been bungee jumping either -- unless you want to count Disneyworld's Tower of Terror, which operates on a similar principle (my son informed me of that just as we were about to drop).

And I won't even tell you how many of the above could have been "yes" responses from me -- I did have my wild years!

Ok, now for something I've never. . .
I've never gone on a cruise.

Well, I have althoug it's been years since the last one. Oh, and those cruises were on Baltic sea.

I've never even tried a snowboard.

Nor have I.  Or skiing.

I have never ridden a unicycle.

Let's see, since my last post...

I have never tried any recreational drug other than alcohol. I even hate pain medication. Every time they've ever given it to me, I've thrown up my guts. I tell them "No thanks, I'd rather be in pain than in pain AND throwing up." I DO LOVE my martinis, though.

I have seen snakes in my yard (I'm from Texas) and really kinda like them...as long as they are not poisonous (used to teach Biology, so I like creepy-crawlies.)

I love to ski, but I've never been snowboarding. I've been on a unicycle, but I couldn't do it.

I have had surgeries and most of them have been cosmetic--breast augmentation, nose job and lasix. Yes, I am quite vain and superficial (g) As soon as I can afford more...I'll do it. "Better living through science" is my motto!

Never bungee jumped. Afraid of heights.

Regrettably, I have stolen something. It was minor, but it haunts me.

Tried recreational drugs (marijuana - three times, I'm allergic to it though so I stopped trying it :jg: , extasy - once, it was fun, LSD - once, it was WAY fun. Honestly, I'd prolly be willing to do Acid again if I thought I could get ahold of some without getting busted by a Narc. :jg: )
Cooked a steak (A damn fine steak, if I do say so myself!)
Broken a bone (my sister's forehead + my nose = broken! :jg:)

For my own contribution...

I have never been scuba diving and I've always wanted to. Though, after seeing Open Water I'll prolly tie a string from myself to the boat so if the boat takes off while I'm in the water at least it'll take me with it! :jg:

I've never been scuba diving either, but I plan to give it a go when I go to Mexico this February.

I have never cooked a turkey! (Though when I did study abroad in Ireland and my friends and roommates had our own Thanksgiving I pretty much cooked everything but the turkey!)

I cooked a turkey for the first time last year, but I didn't read the directions correctly about thawing it out before you cooked it. Took me half the day just to get it thawed all the way and then cook it.

Next time I will remember to put it in the sink with cold water the day before. This year my mom will be cooking.

I have been all over the South and Eastern states, but I have never been to any state west of Texas.

Well, since I was born on the west coast, I'd say I've been west of Texas ;)

I could answer yes to the majority of stuff in the previous posts.  I'm old, been there, done that for the most part. LOL

I have never ridden a camel.

(I was actually going to say I have never ridden an elephant, but it appears I have. LOL When I was about three or four at some Zoo in the UK.)
