Last night on the Daily Show, Stephen Colbert announced he was _considering_ running for president...
Then on the Colbert report, he announced was running for the presidency.

Well, lets be careful and not talk TOO deeply about politics (as it can turn into a big huge debate and end in hurt feelings as we've seen before during election times), but I think as long as we're talking about Cobert for President from a comedic standpoint...
OMG, I can't believe he did that!!!! You know, I had always claimed I would willingly have Jon Stewart's love child, but now I just might have to play Monica Lewinski to Colbert' Clinton.
Errm... you haven't seen politics in this country if you think that's funny. And I have a wait to see the Daily Show, not sure if it's shown 24/48 hours later in this country.

This will be ancient history to most of you, but Colbert's announcement is not a big shock -- not for those of us who supported Pat Paulsen (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pat_Paulsen) for President.
One of his best campaign slogans:

I'd cry, though, if Steven Colbert was the next Ralph Nader. Wouldn't it be ironic if the next vote was a neck and neck race and the votes cast for Steven Colbert could have tipped the scales one way or the other XD
