Aren't we always waiting for things? From copost replies, to the kids to go to bed so we have time to write replies of our own. From books to turn up at the library, to summer to be over so we can out the sunscreen away for another year. Movies, graduation, an inheritances, or Mr(s) Right.
What are you waiting for?
I'm waiting for my thyroid to stop hurting. I'm waiting for my husband to get the manager's position with his work. I'm waiting to find a better job than the one i have right now.

I am waiting for the latest Donna Andrews book to arrive in the post. (Penguins, by mail!)
I'm waiting for it to be at least 7.30 so I can go off to bed.
I'm waiting for my contract work to appear and blight my (happily retired) life. Of course, I've been waiting for that since 1st April. Apparently blighting my life isn't a priority with anybody else.

I'm waiting for my mum to finish gallivanting around the globe and return home. (Landed in the states 12th August - Atlanta, Georgia - not sure what the abbreviation is, but I'm sure someone can tell me. LOL)
I'm waiting for my hubby to get the call for his double transplant.

I'll take some of that too -- though my new apartment has steps so I'll get some exercise. It also is right next to the start of a walking trail so hopefully I'll do more than look off the balcony and say "maybe someday."
And the abbreviation for Georgia is GA.
