So on the path to my boyfriend Eric's apartment here at Rutgers, there's this planter, and a goose made a nest there. Mrs Goose has patiently sat there for about a month, while Mister Goose wanders around, hissing at people some days, sitting there looking depressed other days. Now, though, the geese have hatched! I come bearing photos and videos! Photos on Flickr. Video on YouTube.

They're so cute, they made me melt.
Adorable :love5: I want to cuddle them
Lovely things. Is there a pond nearby?
Here are part of the flocks that hang around our campus.

Aww they are so cute.
Awwww!! I love Canada Geese! They're so cute when they're little and fluffy!
Once, when we were canoieng one May Long Weekend when I was about 13, we found a little gosling that had been swept away from its mum and was swimming valiantly downstream peeping all the way. So we picked him up and I got to cuddle a goose for the next 2 days until he was packed off onto a friend's farm. He grew up thinking he was a turkey until the fall, when he suddenly saw the other geese in the sky and skedaddled south. :)

Yes, I am actually the lost member of the Partridge family.

*sings* Come on get happy
Awwww, Yvonne, that sounds cool! Cuddle one? Sounds lovely!
BTW, when Eric and I came out of the apartment this morning...they were gone :( Mummy and Daddy took them off. I'm sad that I didn't get to spend more time looking at them- only ONE day? Is that even enough time before they're expected to go marching off? *sniff* But I hope they're happy, wherever they are.
They really were adorable. We usually head to the park and river Sunday afternoons, but I don't think we have any baby geese just yet. I did see some ducklings...Although, this early in spring it is not uncommon to get a run of cold weather just yet!
Sorry your little ones moved away so quickly, Avril! :crybaby:
