Everything's pretty good over here. Summer, but no drought or bush fires :)

You're lucky, we have fires and drought and all in the same state - my state!
QLD was in stage 3 restrictions one day and freed from them the next.
Floods up there now.
I have some pix of just how close the Gippsland fires got to my mum and dad's old place in Dargo. It's about 4 hours away from here, luckily.
You must keep everything! WOW, I have no clue where any of my posts would be now. I kept them, and then would reformat, possibly save them, and then forget where I put them... So I have nothing here now.

Yep, am almost sure I remember you and Paula. You guys would have joined just before I left. October was never a good month for me, I always had some sort of cataclysm occur during that month. And that's about when I left, back in 2002.

Jane, that is a very insightful take on the recent influx of former Triad / Pern Shadows members. I like it! What we should do is go through the Way Back Machine, pull the names of former members, and see if we can't keep this homecoming going for a while. One name that jumps instantly to mind of someone not here is Nicole -- anyone remember what happened to her?

Personalities usually are constant. And while fandom can, upon occasion, bring out the worst in us (yes, that applies to me too), it also brings out the best in us for if we are anything it is passionate about about writing, and there is a good deal of talent -- definitely some of the best I've seen in Pern fandom -- in this club.
