Well I've meet my SO's mother, she likes me. In fact she calls me just to chat.

Now I get to meet his father, in April the man is flying here to meet me. I've spoken to him on the phone and my SO swears he likes me but... :pale:

I'm sure you'll be fine :) But I know how scary meeting-the-parents is! (I was so terrified when I met Eric's mom, I didn't say anything for 20 minutes.) Good luck with it!

Rest easy, the last time I had to "meet the folks" was record breaking awkward, and I managed to win over 1 outta 2.

I'm sure you'll do fine, but don't even wnat to think about meeting an SO's relatives. In fact, I don't really want to contemplate an SO at this point.

When I met Heather's family, it was the the WHOLE family, at a wedding, on their own turf (Tucson).

You would *not* believe how bad it was meeting Mikel's parents. For one thing, we had already gotten married...Yeah, it was BAD!

*hugs* You'll do fine. At least you get warning. Jonny stuffed me into his Dad's awesome little vintage convertable and drove me half an hour to their place for some of his brother's birthday cake - without really telling me that's where we were going. He just sort of decided! Jerk. ;)

Keep in mind that no matter what, you have something in common - your SO. And that his dad helped produce the lovely person you met, so there has to be something awesome about him! You'll get along just fine.
