Title: Behold, my new title
Post by: Mikel on February 20, 2007, 07:19:04 AM
I have escaped the normal ladder of titles that has ensnared most of our club.

No longer will I wait to go from blue to brown to bronze

Henceforth, I shall be the Official Curmudgeon!

Main Entry: curĀ·mudĀ·geon
Pronunciation: (")k&r-'m&-j&n
Function: noun
Etymology: origin unknown
1 archaic : MISER
2 : a crusty, ill-tempered, and usually old man

I think you need a distinctive avatar to go with your title. Afterall, the real fun with the different ranks is the different pictures...  :bounce:

No, silly girl.  The code 'twix the colons is opa, but it seemed like a good name for him.

How much did it cost you, then?

Tis 50 marks to get a custom title.

Rewards (http://triadweyrs.org/rewards.php)

I, myself, prolly won't spend any on that cause I know I'll never settle for just one. In fact, I'm already on the lookout for new siggy material - I'd wind up wasting all my marks on forum titles if I started fooling with that!  :jg:

Very nice title. :)

I'd get one, but I never know what to call myself :(

I don't know whether I'll be able to get used to this -- a good friend at another site also claims to be "the official curmudgeon," and the first time I met him in person (three years ago), he was wearing a hat that proclaimed that.

As to pictures, those dwarves of yours look curmudgeon-ly.

I'm quite partial to that dwarf icon.

Of course, we often made up quite creative ends for Mikel's dwarves.

Hey, you didn't have to live with little dwarves and space marines underfoot all the time! (When Mikel would leave them out and the cats would go to town!)

Dwarves and cats are a bad mix
