Bree's server stats thread put an idea into my head -- which is rarely a good thing. So...

First question:
What would your characters do if Pern had MySpace?
D'val would probably pimp his out and be one of those users with a dozen videos that all try to load at once -- and every video would either be of him and Ayleth or scenic views from dragonback of the coastline or other pretty locations. :flower:
Dyaera would be a MySpace DIVA! She would post about cute boys all the time, and try to see how many friends she could get. ;)
Sarian would post naked pictures and directions to her weyr. :p
K'mai would have 10,204 people listed as friends. :D
Cherlyn would have one but never update it, Cortana's you wouldn't want to show you grandkids and Kouna's would be used purely for the opportunity to meet more people and stop the spread of bigotist Southern Ideals. (She's really starting to not like the South's view of women.)
What about if Pern had TV? What would your characters favorite shows be?
I'poro would be In LOVE with shows like Grey's Anatomy and Seventh Heaven.

If Pern had TV, D'val would be a Queer as Folk junkie. Nothing, not even Threadfall, would pull him away from an episode. And he'd probably have an ever-changing list of which people he knows could have been models for the characters on the show. He'd most want to be the Stuart (UK)/ Brian (US) character, even though his nature runs more toward Vince / Michael.
Have a blank page, devoid of preferences or anything else, and just lurk.

You have a MySpace account? *blinks* Darnit! I'm getting old when I not only don't remember that, but don't remember friending said MySpace account. D'oh!
And yes, her MySpace page is really that devoid of content.
If Pern had MySpace, K'nure would have a site that he updated once every 3 months. Mariss would say she wasn't interested but secretly surf around there when no one was watching, and Harki would mercilessly mock anyone who was nerdy enough to have a site.
If Pern had TV, Tsaera would watch reruns of Masterpiece Theatre and foreign sitcoms/movies, Cyrek would be a news junkie, and Larstad would be obsessed with Junkyard Wars, or whatever it's called.
What would your characters do if Pern had fast food joints?
If Pern had Fast Food, Abrei would live on pizza delivered to her office. ;) Then she'd never have to worry about going and finding food or being social!
Birigundi would be the cute flirty pizza guy who delivered the pizza :glasses7:
If Pern had MySpace Maiz would definately be one of those people who refused to sign up for it!
Jielta, on the other hand would be one of those people who have to check it every five minutes to see if anything had changed, or if she had new comments, or new people who wanted to be friends... if she went a lengthy amount of time without any activity, it would badly damage her selfestem.
