Title: Egg Heavy Queens
Post by: Cali on January 24, 2007, 05:07:00 AM
I don't have my Moreta around to help me out, so I'm turning to the great memories of my friends.

Can Egg Heavy Queens fly between?  I remember something about Egg Heavy being different, but no details pop out.  Maybe one of you queen riders have fresh knowledge on it. :D

Thanks in advance!

I don't have Moreta either but I just read it in November. From what I remember, though, Moreta was unwilling to fly on Orlith too much because the heaviness made it harder for the queen to take off and land. I don't remember anything about *between*. I could, however, be quite wrong.

I think its like when a woman can't go between during pregnancy only a dragon can withstand the sheer coldness of it longer.  I re-read Moreta not to long ago and I think thats what they were insinuating.  Plus I don't think they wanted her flying Threadfall because she might injure herself and the eggs.

At Triad Queen's do become egg-heavy before they clutch and therefore cannot fly Thread or /between/.  Once the Clutch is laid, they of course stay with it to guard it until the Hatching, at which point the gold is free to fly again.

Cool, thanks Eimi.  So just to clarify for sure, if you have a egg heavy queen she can't fly, even if it's important?
