Well? Do we wanna lock'er down like Fort Knox, or let the rest of the club see us go nutty?
I'd keep it by request only. A lot of people might not want to see the spam. And doesn't keeping it locked keep it more secure (i.e. you can't Google phrases from it and find the drafts here) if we want to publish it with a company?
It's already locked to registered members only, which takes care of the SPAM/google. ;)

Publishing rights remain with you as long as it's not a full manuscript put up in a public area, and the fact that you have to log in to access the material also keeps it safe. Look at places like zoetrope.com or Critique Circle - they're logged in access only, and all the stuff there is DEFINATLY still your own! And small phrases/portions of your writing on a forum shouldn't matter - especially since I'm sure that our lovely webmistress can take it down at any point in time for us. :)
Though I guess if you made it invisible now, particpants *and* the support squad could ask to be allowed to see it.
I think it should be open to all members so people like me who aren't part of it might get the chance to see what its like. And I always love to give constructive critisism.
Ahh, okay. I don't care either way, then, whether it's public or not. (I do, however, care about succeeding!)
As a competitor, I know I would like everyone to join in :)
But I think it should be up to the person. So long as it is in a separate forum, they can choose if they want to view it.
Who would have thought my innocent question would have started a new forum... :)

I wonder how many marks you get for that!
I think we'll leave it closed to the public but open to general membership, then. :D
Yay!
You're _so_ easy to please
