Here's another one for you...
There have been dragons which did not hatch due to various problems.
There have been dragons which hatched and did not find a Lifemate.
What happens, if all these generations of dragons, one should hatch with some slight genetic abnormality which causes TWO dragons to attempt to Impress the SAME Candidate?
I see a catastrophie for dragons, the Candidate and the Weyr.

More a question for Anne herself, George. As she's indicated, a dragon seeks its lifemate, usually ONE person that it can bond with. Could start an interesting debate on Anne's forum, the KTBB however.
It's probably not a scenario we'd try, although we've certainly worked with the dragon not finding a mate scenario.
I personally don't think it's possible for a person to have two dragons try to Impress one person. But, again, as Nici said, the perfect place to debate a topic is at the KTBB. They love to debate issues like that!
As for it happening in the Triad timeline, it wouldn't be a storyline that would be pursued. However, as Nici stated, we did explore what would happen if a dragonet didn't find a lifemate!
Lexy,
I'm not interested in joining a debating society; I'd rather concentrate on my passion for "archiving" stuff, like that Printercraft information.
