Color code their coposts? Or am I just weird? LOL

I used to do the same thing! And I still do if it's a long running storyline that I'm trying to keep up with answering. I love gmail for that reason!
I haven't done that for personas but I do use it to classify the location!
That actually sounds like a great idea... I may use it
No. You can do that?

Yeah, if you use gmail, select the email and then at the top there's an option called 'labels' (it looks like a little label or tag). You can create a label for the email, or assign one already made. Then, on the left side, your labels will be listed. You can click the three dots beside the label to give it a specific color. If you click on the label itself, any email you've assigned to that label will be listed. Just like a folder.
I have labels for locations for every post, to keep them sorted that way. I have a 'copost' label, so all my coposts are together in one spot. And I have labels for my specific characters, so if I want to find stories they've been in quickly to check some information or date quickly, I can. And they're all color coded. lol
I do it manually, so I don't know if there's an automatic way to do it with parsing or whatever, but manually works for me. The way we put the location in the subject is very helpful for quickly assigning labels. LOL
ETA: And emails can have multiple labels, of course.

You can get filters to automatically label for you, although that can sometimes get tricky with giving the filter the exact information you need to have it labeled correctly.
Yeah, makes sense that you'd be able to. But, doing it manually is easy enough I haven't bothered even looking into setting it up.
