Persona Profile: E'zar

Name: E'zar
Age: 21
Birthday: m12 d19
Rank: Wingrider, Azure Wing
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr

Physical Description of Persona:
E'zar, likes his identical twin brother, is taller in height for a Pernese man at around 5'11" with a lean, rangy build that comes naturally from working on a farm. The lean cut of his torso, and the corded muscle of his bisceps is a product of the hours spent chopping and hauling wood, or mending fences to keep the bovines from wandering too far. E'zar's hair is a darker shade of brown that that of his brother, which is the main feature that helps people tell them apart. His eyes are a dark brown, set above an angular face with high cheekbones, a prominent nose, and a full mouth.

Emotional Description of Persona:
E'zar and his twin are like night and day in many aspects, and yet, exactly the same in others. While they both have a quick, fiery temper, E'zar exudes an air of confidence and self-assurance that immediately causes others to flock to him. He is a natural social leader, but not always the most sensitive when it comes to the feelings of others. Because of his blunt nature, E'zar sometimes clashes with his twin, who is more "emotional", or so E'zar claims. E'zar believes that Z'then's quiet, sensitive side is a show of weakness, and he is constantly trying to force Z'then to be "more of a man." Although they sometimes clash, because of their competitive natures, E'zar would say he has no closer friend than his brother.

History of Persona:
E'zar is one in a set of twins born to a farmer and his wife in the Amber Hills territory. Growing up E'zar had the constant company of his twin brother Z'then. Having been born first, E'zar instantly felt like the "older" brother and always seemed to be the ringleader of any shanigans that took place around the small farm on which they lived. E'zar and Z'then have one older sibling, a brother Theyvre, and then two younger sisters that came after them. Over and over again the two boys heard how lucky they were to have survived birth and how taxing it had been on their mother.

However small and weak they had been at birth, the two boys quickly grew into their own and after two Turns time no one would have known that they had had a rocky start to life. Living on a small farm in Amber Hills brought a certain sense of "shelter" to their lives, but Ethzar always dreamed of more, and if he dreamed of more, then he forced his twin to do the same. When they were fifteen a blue dragon from Dragonsfall Searched E'zar and agreed that Z'then could have "some" potential as well.

Being poor farmers, E'zar and Z'then's parents tearfully agreed to let their children go, after all, it would be two less mouths to feed and they already had an eldest son that would inherit the farm. The Weyr was an opportunity for their two sons to make something of themselves and they could not deny them that opportunity.

By nineteen Turns of age, E'zar and Z'then had stood at every Hatching to come to the Sands of Dragonsfall, but neither had any luck. They were both beginning to feel the pressure of aging out of Candidacy when they happily Impressed at the same hatching.
