Persona Profile: C'baz

(Inactive)

Name: C'baz
Age: 20
Birthday: m13 d23
Rank: Wingrider, Cyclone Wing
Location: Dolphin Cove Weyr

Physical Description of Persona:
Celebaz is tall and lanky. He has black hair and eyes that match. His nose is bridged high and tends to stick out even more as it's owner tends to slouch his shoulders and bend forward slightly at the neck. His smile reveals a row of slightly crooked teeth with long canines framing either side, but it is a happy one that makes his face, if not extraordinarily handsome, rather appealing.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Nothing seems to really faze Celebaz for long. He just takes life as it comes, living moment to moment and milking it for all it's worth. In fact, he tends to milk just about everything he can! His friendly smile has taken in many an unsuspecting fool with his business schemes. He's always looking for a way to make a mark or two with as little effort and inconvenience to himself as he possibly can. When one visits his room, they would find boxes of his latest venture stacked up all over.

History of Persona:
Celebaz was born in a Minor Hold beholden to what is now in the territory of Rising Moon Weyr. When he was barely old enough to remember the journey, his father moved his family over the Easter Barrier Range into Dolphin Cove territory.

His father traveled extensively as a blacksmith and farrier, going from farm to farm to do what work needed to be done. Celebaz would accompany him whenever he was not in Harper classes, which is where he learned how to use his smile and his mind for business to pick up an unwanted tool from one farmer to sell at a profit to the next. Whenever his father didn't need his help, the young boy would be scouring the outbuildings for something to sell. Since it brought a bit of extra marks to the family, his father did little to discourage his interest.

Celebaz helped his father, training as he went to shoe runners and working the bellows, up until the age of 13. It was then a bluerider came looking for candidates on Search. His dragon took an interest in the boy, but his father asked Celebaz to stay and help him until his 15th Turn. If he still wanted to go then, he was promised permission to go with the family's blessings. His father did not want his son to be virtually on his own at such a young age. Also, by then his younger brother would be old enough to take over assisting him. Celebaz agreed.

By the time another couple of Turns passed, and with the possibility of a future at the Weyr and a dragon always in his mind, Celebaz was sure shoeing runner and traveling from farm to farm every day was not for him. When his 15th birthday came, he asked his father to make good on his promise and allow him to move to the Weyr. His family sent him on with their love and blessings.

It did not take Celebaz long to make friends and carve a niche for himself in the Weyr. The whole world seemed open to him, and he took every opportunity and relished it, though never forgetting where he came from. He still writes his family faithfully every month, slipping in a mark whenever he can.
