Physical Description of Persona:
Angshel looks like he needs more than a few good meals in him. A recent growth spurt has given him a gawky look but, with months now living in the Weyr, it's easy to see that he will be a nice looking young man. His hair is slightly darker than a dirty blond and falls into soft curls around his face. His eyes are a grey-blue and his features are still boyishly soft, and he always has a ready smile. His style of dress is modest and he wouldn't dream of drawing attention to himself.

Emotional Description of Persona:
Being the child of drudges, Angshel has learn early in life to be quiet, take orders without question, and above all, to be obedient to people with rank. He can be very fearful of others and has a hard time with trust. His father disappeared early in his life, leaving him without a male role figure. Since being taken on as an apprentice he looks up to his Master, Y'gel, and sees him as a bit of a father figure.

History of Persona:
Angshel was born to drudges in an unnamed and unlamented Hold before his mother was moved by her Lord to Blue Mountain Hold, a day's ride from the local Weyr, when he was 7. All his life had been work and more work, and he dreamed of being something more than 'just a drudge.'

When he turned 14 he began to be attracted to males. This terrified him as the Hold he lived in was conservative in their views. Despite this he formed a close attachment to another young boy. This, in turn, led to him and the other boy being very badly beaten by older Hold boys who decided to let the boys know they were--in their words--sick and perverted, and to also use this as a reason to beat the two drudges and let them know their 'places.' Angshel managed to escape and ran away to the local Weyr, River's Buff, where he was found by a dragon rider and taken to the infirmary.

After healing he worked briefly as a drudge at the Weyr and was reunited with his mother, who was brought to the Weyr by the Weyrleader. During a conversation with a friend, Briata, he worked up the courage to ask the Master Dragonhealer if he could become an Apprentice, and was told yes.

Shortly after his friends Im're and Briata convinced him to ask Weyrwoman Rhosyn if he could Stand for the next Hatching. When she questioned him on certain issues with Flights he broke down, which led her to tell him he wasn't ready for Impression.

Whilst helping the Sr. Dragonhealers during the Hatching, little Himarth had other ideas and ran off the Sands to find and Impress with Angshel, now A'shel.

Dragon's Name: Himarth
Dragon's Age: 3
Dragon's Colour: Blue
Description of Dragon:
Himarth is an unusual coloured blue, almost hard to describe. His base colour is a mix of sky and cornflower blue with a hint of lavender blue and an almost silvery sheen underneath. His physical features are on the small side, though he looks like he will be on the larger side of average for a blue. His temperment is very calm, almost brown-like, and he is more aware of his rider's problems then most would think and supports him as much as he can.
